ABOUT BOMBER HEIGHTS NEIGHBORHOOD
ASSOCIATION…
OUR PURPOSE:
To provide an organized
framework that promotes, enhances and solidifies the quality of life in the
Bomber Heights community through the active involvement of its residents through
educational and charitable endeavors.
Bomber Heights NA was founded in the summer of
2005 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted a better quality of life than
what the current neighborhood afforded.
Due to the founding of this
institution and the increasing involvement of community neighbors and partners,
the following has taken place.
Citizens on Patrol (COP) group
started….significant drop in crime.
Code Ranger…faster attention/resolve of code
issues.
Annual participation in Cow Town Cleanup and
Trinity River Bash…cleaner neighborhood.
Neighborhood Art to be installed in 2009…street
toppers and gateway to neighborhood.
Willis Cul De Sac Renovation installed at the
hands of the citizens of Bomber Heights in July 2008. Thanks to the vision of
our neighbor Floyd Copeland, the cul de sac now has three beautiful raised
flower beds with flowering perennials and three new trees.
Improvements to Z Boaz Park are in the making.
We received a $8,000.00 grant from the City of Fort Worth Parks Department for
our master planned improvements to our park.
The neighborhood is really improving, moving
towards a family friendly neighborhood experience and will one day be a place
where all will be proud to call home.
We encourage everyone from home owners,
renters, businesses and foundations to join in on the excitement that a few
started but with the proper support, all will enjoy!
